Eligibility

Be a national of a country that has a treaty of commerce and navigation with the United States 

Initial stay 

The initial stay is for a maximum of two years

You can extend your stay in two-year increments from within the U.S.

You can also travel and re-enter with a valid visa to extend your stay

There is no limit to the number of times you can renew your E-2 visa
